August 2020 Stamping News

Hello my crafty friends!   I'm so excited to share with you the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogs and have been busy trying to get the new catalogs out! Please let me know if you are still waiting for one.  The catalog has so many great new products and ideas and even the return of some favorites from last year!  The catalog sales period begins on August 4th and if you earned Bonus Dollars coupons last month you certainly can use them to purchase from any current catalog through out the month of August.   Thinking ahead, I have been asked by many if we will do a Christmas Card Camp this year.  Let me start by saying that we cannot use the Event Room at Solterra this year.  I do have an alternate venue at a friends recreation center near Walgreens in Show Low on Saturday October 17th.  With the current virus conditions in our area, I would like to propose something a little different.  IF we can meet in person, I would like to limit the number of people attending at one time.  So I am thinking 2 different 4 hour sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon so that everyone would get a chance to do their stamping.  (Please understand that it is against Stampin' Up! policy that I provide you with any stamped images.)  I would set up differently so that you would be able to do all your stamping and use a different table/area to assemble at least 1 of each card and if necessary you would be able to finish assembling at home.   I have created an online survey to gauge what interest there would be this year, it is only 7 questions long.  I would really appreciate your feedback!  The survey can be found here:    https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/W86VFYV Stampin' Up! has been updating their website/store!  It is going live on August 4th.  Hopefully this new update will allow you to easily make your purchases online.  One of the exciting features is it will show in real time if a product is on back order or is low inventory, which I think will be very helpful for your online shopping!  Please be sure to let me know if you have any difficulty navigating the new website.   Start Shopping Class Schedule: While our community is still seeing high infection rates, I am opting on the side of caution and will not hold any in person classes this month.
